Chris has been involved with computers in some way since the age of ten, learning basic computing on Commodore VIC-20 and Commodore 64 personal computers from his grandfather, an electronics engineer.
More than a few years have passed since as well as job experience in Emergency Medical Services, Amusement Park Management, and Suppy Chain Operations. In 2005, time, experience, and opportunity led him to start PC Search & Rescue. Since then, thousands of home users and small businesses have found assistace from PCSR.

If you play, let us know and any machines that need to be reloaded or custom-built will come back preloaded with WoW and all the latest updates. Our 25Mb Data lines allow us to download everything in just a couple hours so you don't have to wait all night, you will be raid-ready when you turn in on. We can also in some cases preserve your WoW add-ons folder to preserve your mods.
Onsite Support $69/hr (1hr min)
We can usually have an experienced onsite technician at your home or office in a matter of hours. Whatever your challenge we can provide answers and solutions to suit your needs.
Repairs - to hardware or operating system, replace failed hard drives, replace failed CD/DVD drives. Most notebook hardware repairs are best handled in the shop.
Backups
We are an authorized reseller of Mozy Backup services and can easily set you up with an offsite and local backup solution to suit your needs and budget.
Networking (wired or wireless) - Allow for shared applications and multiple computers to connect to the internet, we can also help configure gaming systems like XBOX, Playstation, and Nintendo Wii for network access We can also enable peripheral and folder sharing within your home network so everyone can access common files or printers. (1 to 2 hours)
Virus/Spyware cleanup - Don't want to haul your system to the shop, one of our technicians can take care of it at your home or office (1.5 to 3.5 hours)
Broadband Setup - If you recently purchased broadband Internet access or DSL for your office and need assistance with the installation, or just prefer a professional installation, PCSR can help. We can setup your broadband connection and get your business connected to the Internet today. (1 to 2 hours)
After Hours/Weekends/Holidays - We have onsite technicians available 24 hours a day, additional charges do apply to some evening and weekend service call for details.
After 6 pm same day service: +$29
All hours billed after 10 pm: $99/hour
Major holiday Callout: $99/hour (2 hour minimum)
Carry in Shop $49/hr (1hr min)
Concerned about cost, Bring it into our shop where the costs are lower. Some issues are also not as feasible onsite and can be better handled by the additional tools and facilities the shop can provide.
Virus/Spyware Cleanup $99 ( labor and antivirus software included )
In our shop, usually just $99. Advanced virus scanners and our hardened network allow us to safely work on some of the most vicious of virus infected machines. Some viruses require reformatting the hard drive and reloading windows, if so there is a $50 extra charge for backing up your data before proceeding and restoring it later.
Power Supply Replacement $84 ( parts and labor inc. )
Many times a computer that will not turn on just needs a new power supply, usually repaired for less than $100.
this assume basic power supply, some machines need more expensive units.
Saturday Specials
Any machine brought in for non priority service on a Saturday gets $20 off its total bill. Turnaround times will vary

In the event your problem cannot be fixed remotely, any remote charges are applied to an onsite or in shop repair. Call the main dispatch line to set up a time.
When your time arrives your technician will call you and direct you to Click below to start your session.
Your technician will then provide you with a "support key" to start your session. Allow or approve of any prompts that follow and your session should be running in just a few minutes
You can leave messages 24 hours a day at the main dispatch line, on call techs do check those messages from time to time. After hours response is available for an additional fee. If you are interested in an after hours response make sure you state it in the message.
